24 years ago today, I was in a coma. Each year, I honor the day in my own way. Last year, it was the opening of my studio —some of you were here.  The love and support I felt that day was incredible.

This year, I’ll be celebrating with a special dinner served on my own Blishware — blind-friendly dishes I designed (with more to come soon!)

Pottery became my way back to life. Working with clay has given me purpose and  creativity. Each piece I make is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, we can still shape something beautiful.

So on this anniversary, I pause with deep gratitude — for how far I’ve come, for the people who’ve supported me, and for the reminder that life is fragile and precious. It can change in an instant, which is why we must celebrate it fully.

In Hebrew we say: “L’Chayim” — To Life!
