October 5th is World Meningitis Day

October 5th is World Meningitis Day! The Meningitis prevention foundation is illuminating buildings and landmarks in purple and blue to highlight the unpredictable nature of meningococcal meningitis and raise awareness about life-saving vaccines!

I was diagnosed with an ear infection. 36 hours later, I was in a coma. I am happy to be alive and help bring attenion to this unpredictable illness.
